Our 2018 campaign, #CATSCARE444, was launched in January 2018 by the Fat Cats Athletic Club CSI team.

The campaign aims to raise R400,000.00 by December 31st 2018, to support 400 disadvantaged learners in four provinces by providing them with sanitary pads, school uniforms and shoes.

On the 10th of June 2018, Fat Cats Athletic Club members joined thousands of runners from around the country and the world, as they participated in the 2018 edition of the Comrades Marathon.

Theirs had been a different running battle, as most of them ran in support of the #CATSCARE444 campaign to raise funds for needy school children in the rural areas.

Last year’s (2017) CSI campaign, in association with ATTACQ  was deemed a major success as it saw more than 100 disadvantaged learners benefiting handsomely from the various collection and pledges made towards providing sanitary pads, school uniforms and shoes.

Disadvantaged Learners

The Club had once again humbly requested that its membership as well as members of the public assist by pledging any amount towards this Campaign, starting by supporting its Comrades runners.

These pledges and donations will go a long way in supporting the targeted learners in 4 schools out of those that will be proposed by Club members as most deserving.
